    Dr. Mitchell Kavaner

    Mitchell grew up in Manning, Alberta and graduated from the University of Alberta faculty of Medicine and Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He attended Grande Prairie Regional College for his undergraduate studies leading to his Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree.

    Mitchell spent his youth enjoying the outdoors, playing hockey and high school volleyball and working as a lifeguard at the local swimming pool. Other hobbies include camping, fishing and any watersports. Mitchell is also an avid traveller having recently backpacked across China, Japan, and Thailand. He also teamed up with the charity dental group, Change for Children, on a dental mission to Nicaragua to provide basic dental care for locals.

    Having grown up in a small town Mitchell is looking forward to joining the Westmor Dental team in Morinville and getting to know the community in the months to come.

    The visit was quick and efficient, and Dr. Mitch is not only knowledgeable, but very friendly and approachable during the entire appointment. It's absolutely worth a drive from Edmonton (or even further honestly) to visit Westmor

    The atmosphere is very professional but everyone is so friendly. I felt very comfortable taking my daughters in for their first “Happy Visit” and they left beaming with excitement about their experience. I just had a filling done and the process was quick and painless. The assistants and front staff are so kind and Dr. Lava at is pleasant and very thorough. Great experience and we plan to move our family to this dentist clinic from now on. Thank you!

    My Son Christopher H has seen Mitch on several occasions and recommends him to anyone looking for a Dentist. The staff are very friendly and professional and it is very clean and welcoming. Mitch puts you at ease and explains what needs doing. The hygienist is also very professional and does a great job, both my parents recommend Westmor too. My son recommended them and I will be booking in soon too.😊 Update: I had my appointment and was so pleased with my results of having my teeth cleaned by Katie and exam by Mitch. I also had a filling and as a nervous patient was put at ease and won't be nervous for my next appointment. They are wonderful and I highly recommend you visit them for all your dental needs. My husband Thomas has since become a patient and is absolutely thrilled with the work done in getting his smile back.

    I saw Mitch today and it was a wonderful experience. This dental clinic was recommended to me by many family members and I can see why! Dr. Mitch was kind and very thorough. He explained what was happening to my mouth in a way I could understand. I highly recommend this dental clinic to everyone. Excellent experience.

    Westmoor Dental was easy to book with and on time with my appointment. Two things I appreciate as a busy mom. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I enjoyed watching Netflix during my visit. I have already referred my family members there.
